Bangpra International

Bangpra International Golf Course is one of the original courses built to supply top class Asian golf in the Pattaya area. Originally opening in 1958, it was completely overhauled and redeveloped in 1988, turning it into one of the gems of the Thailand golf scene. The Tourist Authority of Thailand teamed up with a large Japanese leisure consortium to create a truly stunning course for those seeking the best golf in Thailand.

As one of the most thoroughly maintained courses in the Pattaya area Bangpra International Golf Course is considered by many to be the highlight of a golf holiday in Pattaya. Set down on a valley, surrounded by slowly rolling hills, Bangpra International Golf Course seems to stay cool the entire year round. Populated by an incredible range of tropical flora and fauna this mature course seems more like a country park than a golf course at times.

This is mainly due to the fact the course was constructed to take advantage of terrain, highlighting the natural features. The fairways are extremely well maintained and the greens are a putter’s delight, being firm and fast. The course features two greens located upon island, a true challenge for every golfer. Bangpra International Golf Course was designed by the Japan Golf Promotion Co and opened in 1958 with total renovation taking place in 1988.
