Lake View Restaurant Pattaya

Lake View Restaurant was constructed on an old fishing lake by a young Thai lady with a great idea some two years ago. It is situated some ten minutes from Jomtien Beach turning right on the Sukhumvit road heading out towards Ban Amphur and can not be missed.

This extensive lake on which the restaurant is situated, now also holds audience to Pattaya’s newest Floating market. Thai style open air dining with its massive white umbrellas to shelter you from the sun and occasional rain of course, spreads out across the lake with each dining area joined by timber walkways. At the northern end an octagonal auditorium with grand piano, guitars and keyboard will accompany their fine cuisine backed by the sound of the gushing water fountains around the lake.

For those that enjoy TV there is a massive projection screen often showing the latest football game (shame really, kind-a spoils it a bit) but at least the sound is turned down. Whatever the occasion fancy a romantic evening to pop some very important words, enjoy a birthday party a wedding reception could be on the cards? Lake View is big enough to suit most occasions. Thai, English and French dishes are on the menu plus the usual beer, wines, spirits and cocktails.

This is not a place to go if you’re in a hurry - its calm, relaxed, do some star gazing, say those few magic words you’ve been meaning to say for a long time or take a few friends and have a party! Go as you are nobody minds, a great place to chill out and enjoy the superb food. Downside, don’t have a steak they come from the freezer, other than that well worth a visit!

When you’re done head to Ban Amphur have a great massage at Friendly massage opposite the Ambassador or get the staff to call you a baht taxi and head off for some action to Pattaya – what a great way to finish the day!
