Robinsons Mega Mall Phuket

Away from the beaches and heavily populated tourist areas is Robinsons Mega Mall, in the heart of Phuket Town. Robinsons is a huge department store which sells everything one would need under one roof.
 

The ground floor contains a fantastic supermarket named Tops, which sells a wide range of western and international food and drink. Outside the supermarket entrance there are several stalls creating an indoor market. From bargain clothing to leather wallets, and the alluring scent from the bakery, you couldn't wish for any more.

Once you have explored the ground floor, you mustn't forget that this is only the start of the Robinsons experience. Visitors can take an escalator or an elevator and explore the five floors of this impressive department store. As is so typical in Thailand, each section of the store you are greeted by a friendly shop assistant and this bolsters the old adage of Thailand being the “Land of Smiles”.

Each floor of Robinsons has its own genre, whether it is children's clothing, jewelry and perfumes or sporting equipment. The store sells a fantastic range of clothing, baby equipment and toys which are of a western style. On the fourth floor there is the women's wear section, offering a delightful display of fashionable clothing, handbags, purses and of course, shoes.

Menswear, stationary and sports equipment are also found within Robinsons, where you will acquire diving equipment (perfect for Phuket's world-renowned crystal clear seas).

Located on the top floor is home-wear. Here, visitors will find items for their kitchen, bathroom and their bedroom. Situated on this floor is a collection of Thai restaurants. Unlike in your home country where Thai food is very expensive, these Thai restaurants serve up incredible meals, from very spicy salads, simple stir-fried chicken dishes or a fiery curry, all for tremendously low prices.
