Taking over the site of an old coconut plantation, The Eastern Star Country Club & Resort has been a firm favourite with local Pattaya residents and those visiting the area on a gold holiday for over a decade now. Coconut palms line the extremely wide fairways, whilst a dozen lakes and 65 bunkers provide plenty of hazards for the golfer.
The greens are impeccably kept, and have won several awards. The Eastern Star Country Club & Resort is a regular host of regional and local tournaments and other golf events in Pattaya; it has also been nominated several times as the best golf in Thailand. The course itself is fairly challenging, with many dogleg holes and hazards lining the fairways. It is very much a strategic course, demanding careful club selection and precise play.
The par 3 signature hole is an incredible fusion of natural flora and fauna, ingenious and demanding fairway layout and superb putting green, one of the best holes to be found in Asian golf.
