On a quiet hillside near Koh Lanta’s Klong Khong beach, Villa Lanta Sabai truly is a hidden gem. You can easily spend your entire time relaxing here in the quiet surroundings and get back to nature in the private walled garden.
There are so many places to while away the hours – by the pool side, on a sunbed in the garden, on a ‘day bed’ in the open sided living area or on the huge rooftop terrace where you can enjoy sunset sea views over the Andaman sea. The villa has a communal swimming pool.
The villa is designed in Thai-Bali style with most rooms having one wall open to the garden. Inside is decorated with ‘Lanna’ style art (from Thailand’s northern region) giving the whole place a truly exotic feel. The furnishings are modern and comfortable, just like you’re used to back home.
Location :
The location is perfect – only a 600m walk down to Klong Khong beach for a days sunbathing or an evenings entertainment of food, drink and music. There are plenty of restaurants on the road and down on the beach. 4km north is Long Beach, where there is a good selection of nightlife, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants. 4km south is Klong Nin beach and a bit further is Koh Lanta’s National Park area.
The reception staff are friendly and attentive, and can organize absolutely any day tour you wish such as fishing, elephant trekking, boat trips and more. The operators even pick you up and drop you off at your door.
Accommodation
Bedrooms:
The two bedrooms both have air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and very comfortable beds! These rooms also have a gorgeous garden view.
Bathroom:
There are three bathrooms with high quality fittings – the two ensuite bathrooms, plus a separate guest washroom in the kitchen area.
Dining room :
You can eat in the open dining area, or upstairs on the rooftop terrace. There’s also a barbeque and cold water shower up there, so you can cool off if the cooking is making you too hot!
Kitchen:
The kitchen leads out into the garden, giving you a wonderful view while you prepare your meal. There’s an oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge freezer to help you, plus many modern appliances such as blender, coffee maker etc and more than enough cutlery and crockery for your group.
Living rooms:
With a comfortable sofa and plasma TV (over 50 channels) you can easily relax here. One wall is open leading into the hallway area, which itself is open on both sides to the garden, giving you a fresh cool breeze from the ocean. If that’s not enough there is a large ceiling fan as well.
