Just a short walk to Klong Khong beach, Koh Lanta, Villa Sawan is in the perfect location. Tucked away on the hillside in a small project of 3 villas, you are guaranteed to relax and unwind here on your Koh Lanta holiday. The Bali inspired architecture and tropical garden literally take your breath away.
The whole concept of Villa Sawan is based around the outdoors. The kitchen leads out onto a hallway open on two sides, looking out onto the garden. Undercover, outdoor bathrooms add to the natural feeling of the villa, and the living space is open on 3 sides.
The garden is large and extremely private with rare tropical plants and trees. Upstairs is a large sun terrace with barbeque and an outdoor shower to cool off with during the heat of the day.
Location
The villa is situated only 500m from the beach, where you’ll find plenty of bars, restaurants and massage operators. 4km north is Long Beach with a much wider selection of eateries, and some shopping too. To the south you could visit the Mai Keow caves, go elephant trekking and kayaking. At Villa Sawan reception desk you can book any excursion you wish, and they will pick you up from the villa front door, dropping you back at the end of the day.
Accommodation
Bedrooms:
3 large air-conditioned bedrooms have comfortable double beds and ensuite bathrooms. Each room looks onto the garden and is completely private in its own area. If you prefer a more natural, breezy bedroom, open the double doors and use the cooling ceiling fans instead.
Bathroom:
All 3 bathrooms are open on one side, allowing you to take your morning shower and enjoy a view of the garden. The tropical climate makes this experience an absolute delight.
Dining room :
The dining area is upstairs on the roof terrace with lots of space and a wooden table large enough for 8 people. Look out onto the lush tropical surroundings as you barbeque your meal, or eat takeaway from the many great Thai restaurants close by.
Kitchen:
Large worktops give you lots of room for food preparation, and you’ve got all the mod cons to help you with your cooking and food storage: fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, kettle, blender plus all cutlery and crockery for up to 8 people.
Living rooms:
A comfortable sofa dominates the room facing the plasma TV (with over 50 cable channels). This area can be opened up completely on 3 sides, looking right out into the tropical garden. Even if it rains, you can still enjoy your movie with an ocean breeze cooling you down.
