The location of Laem Sor Beachfront Villa B in Island Koh Samui makes this two storey villa an excellent choice for those with children. Not only is it away from the main roads but it has a clean white sandy beach with shallow water and a large grassy area that is the ideal place for children to play.
The use of wooden furniture and pitched ceilings within the villa give the feeling of being in a cottage, while the use of tropical plants in the gardens and around the pool shout paradise! The large sun terrace and pool are shared by all three villas, all of which also have their own terrace with comfortable seating and dining areas.
At the edge of the grassy area is a small bar and restaurant that serves delicious and affordable Thai food, drinks, cold beers and cocktails. You can also take advantage of the in-villa catering and in-villa massage facilities. Private speed boat charters to neighboring islands and a trips and tours booking service is also available to Leam Sor residents.
Location: The villa is located in the un-spoilt south of Koh Samui, Despite its beautifully secluded location the villa is only fifteen minutes away from the bustling town of Lamai that has a large white sandy beach, plenty of shops and restaurants, shopping opportunities and nightlife. During the summer months the tide is low in this area and the reef can be dry up to 100 meters out. During these months’ children, and adults, can play beach football and volleyball, collect shells and explore rock pools. The country lanes around the villa are a delight to explore and have a few bars, restaurants and convenience stores. This area is incredibly picturesque and the perfect place to relax and explore local attractions such as the snake farm, tiger zoo, aquarium and butterfly farm.
Accommodation
Bedrooms:
Both bedrooms can be found on the second floor, where you will also find a small library and luggage storage room. The master bedroom overlooks the pool, terrace, beach and ocean and has a stunning wooden four poster bed and an attractive stand alone hand carved wardrobe. The pitched wooden ceiling and clever use of lighting create a beautiful and romantic environment in this room. The second bedroom is to the rear of the property and has a small balcony with mountain views. The room has two beds but there is plenty of space for extra mattresses if required.
Bathroom:
The attractive Balinese style bathroom can be found on the ground floor. The room has twin sinks and a large spacious natural slate tiled shower, attractive and well-chosen artifacts and plenty of fresh towels.
Dining room :
The open plan dining area has been tastefully decorated and has a robust, round, wooden dining table that seats four and like the lounge offers incredible views over the ocean, terrace and pool. Here you will find a large cooling ceiling fan, soft orange window drapes, attractive oriental wooden furnishings and a light and airy ambiance.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is light and airy thanks to its two large windows. The kitchen is open plan and has wooden cupboards and white tiled work surfaces. Meals can be prepared in the well equipped kitchen that has a four ring gas hob, ample cooking utensils, a large fridge, kettle, microwave and all the crockery and cutlery you could need. Fresh food can be brought in the local markets or in the international style supermarkets in Lamai.
Living rooms:
The living room is to be found just off the kitchen and dining area. The room is open plan and has white tiled floors and hand carved solid wooden furniture. The living area offers superb uninterrupted pool and ocean views and has double doors that open up onto the dining and communal pool terraces.
