Patong is famous for being Phuket’s most exciting and most visited beachside destination. Aside from the vibrant and hedonistic nightlife the town is well noted for, Patong Beach is also a great place to enjoy those glowing sunrays. This 3km stretch of sand runs the entire length of the bay, situated on the central western coast of the island. The nightlife scene fundamentally revolves around Bangla Road, which is the epicenter of the island’s entertainment scene. Although Patong can be an interesting family holiday location because there is so much to do, it can be quite hectic at times, but this can add to the overall atmosphere of your stay. Shopping options are plentiful in Patong.

The Jungceylon Shopping Center is vast, combining together fashion boutiques, electrical stores, Careforre supermarket, restaurants of every style, markets, open-air stage shows and even a shooting range. Directly behind the complex, you will find Patong market, which is the ideal spot to buy the cheapest graceries in the town.

If you like eclectic nightlife entertainment, you can take in the world famous ladyboy shows at Simon Cabaret, or watch an exciting bout or two of Muay Thai boxing at the Patong Boxing Stadium. The list of options in Patong will make your holiday experience a memorable one. Being situated in such a centralized location means you easily reach other areas such as Karon, Kata and Kamala with relative ease.
