This is a lovely house situated in a wonderful position right on the coast with breathtaking views of the sea from its balconies. The house has its living area on the upper floor and bedrooms on the lower floor. The Moorings is a fabulous small complex which shares the use of a large well maintained swimming pool surrounded by coconut palms, bougeanvillea and frangipani trees. We loved being able to walk from the house directly to the beach.
The holiday we had here was very much sea oriented. We ate and drank at e cafes on the beach (one of which has bar stools in the sea!) and explored the coast by water whichever way we could. We hired kayaks from the café and a motorboat from a local who took us out for the day to nearby islands where we could snorkel in fabulous clear water. We were also closer to Phuket city (overlooked by tourists) which we found fascinating and ate at some superb French /Thai fusion restaurants. The Moorings has a great deal to offer any sea lover and is very peaceful!

Location
With easy access to Kalim Beach, and only minutes from the exciting nightlife of Patong Beach, the villa is just 12 minutes to the most popular shopping centre, and 10 minutes to banks, restaurants, shops and an excellent cabaret show called Simon Cabaret. It takes only a few minutes to reach Patong Beach, 15 minutes to Karon and Kamala Beaches, and 30 minutes to Phuket International Airport and Phuket town.
Accommodation
Bedrooms:
There are two bedrooms for four. A large double with en-suite, and tasteful décor, and an equally large twin room with full size single beds. These can be joined if necessary to make a double. A cot is available for those with young families.
Bathroom:
Both bathrooms are en-suite. The main bedroom has shower and bath. There are also separate WCs.
Dining room :
The indoor dining area is part of the main open-plan living area and has seating for 6 people. Alternatively, taking your meals outside on the large veranda on another modern dining set, enjoying the sights, smells and sounds of the great outdoors, may appeal more.
Kitchen:
The kitchen area has a 4-ring stove, coffee maker, cooking utensils, freezer, fridge, hob, iron and ironing-board, microwave, mini-fridge, and toaster to cater for all your holiday culinary needs.
Living rooms:
The open plan seating area affords panoramic and stunning views over the sea and beach, on comfortable modern settees either side of the coffee table.
