Us lads just wanted to say a big thankyou to you and Ing for the brilliant time we had in your fabulous villa. We had the time of our lives and cant stop talking about it. Each day just got better and better. Please give a big thankyou to the maids as they made our lives so much easier and they were a great laugh. Weve been to many countries and stopped in many 5 star hotels and we can tell you that your villas and the service you provide exceed anything we have ever experienced. We have already made plans to come back next year and cant wait to see you all again. Thanks for your part in the prank we played on our mate, it was the best acting weve ever seen, have you considered a career in acting??. Thanks again.
Travelling along the Sukhumvit highway from Jomtien towards Sattahip you will pass through Ban Amphur the home of Ambassador City on your right after a few minutes the Thai-Austrian Technical Colledge is on your left and a U Turn to Ban Amphur beach, go straight on, take the next U turn at ‘Na Jomtien’ 36 and head back towards Ban Amphur, on the left you will see a large purple sign Rimpa Lapin, turn left head for the beach all will be revealed.
Rimpa Lapin was the home of Linda’s (A Thai actress) mother some 30 years ago placed high over Ban Amphur beach. Nearly four years ago after successfully running two restaurants in Bangkok alongside her career decided to turn the family home into what it is today. After two years of sleepless nights and many votes of “It will never work” Rimpa Lapin was born.
I have never been good with words I have to say the presence and ambiance of this building left me speechless set in magnificent tropical gardens high above the stunning beach below. The restaurant is tiered all the way down to the beach giving you every opportunity to sit and gaze over the beach out into the sunset. I promise some stunning sunset’s can be seen.
If a restaurant could be Paradise then this is it the view alone is worth million’s.
The food well certainly met my very fussy standards, mainly fish as you might expect,
plenty of European style dishes as well, service second to none and exceptionally clean. This menu will certainly tempt your taste-buds.
Best time to go Monday to Thursday it is so busy with the Thai Community Friday to Sunday you might not get in! Bookings can be made on 085 119 7238 – 084 451 5686
Please say hello to the Manager Khun Sa-Nga for me! Well done Linda Loy per cent!
