We spent 5 days in Baan Nomella and it was a very good place for a holiday in Pattaya. The villa was very spacious and we all had lots of space to ourselves, which is important when you holiday together.
Baan Nomella was just like home. We had great independence and felt very free. You just cannot get that freedom in a hotel.
Neung, the customer care girl was also very good and was there for us when we needed something or some advice. We will be coming back again in September so keep Baan Nomella warm for us.
By exploiting the incredible natural environment, Desmond Muirhead has created something of a masterpiece in the St. Andrews 2000 Golf Club. The course was designed to be an accurate reconstruction of a links style course, the result is some of the best Asian golf available, classic golf in beautiful
surroundings. Visitors to Pattaya on a golf holiday should be advised that this challenging course was developed to test golfers with a handicap of 18 or lower, making it one of the most demanding golf courses in the Pattaya area.
The addition of two par 6 holes adds an interesting twist for those golfers used to playing shorter holes, and one that is likely to pose quite a challenge, these require mental concentration and precise fairway work to handle correctly. Indeed, the whole course demands a combination of physical strength and sound strategic play, requiring the use of almost every club in the bag.
The clubhouse is impeccable and the service is excellent. The only slight complaint seems to be the compulsory golf cart ruling, which combined with the fairly high green fees makes this one of the most expensive days Golf Pattaya has to offer. All in all St. Andrews 2000 Golf Club should be considered a must play course for those seeking the best golf in Thailand.
