open double quote Hi Paul

Just thought I would drop you a line to say the villa was in great condition, the service of the maids, cleaners and staff to meet us was good, location was great, easy to get taxis, and we had a most enjoyable stay.

We hope to return next year and will recommend your company to other friends who go to Thailand.

Kind Regards

Thailand Tourism – Turning Negatives to Positives

The past year and a half have been trying times for the Kingdom of Thailand, what with the worldwide economic problems and the political infighting between the opposing ideals of the red and yellow shirt party members. Despite the unforeseen strife, Thailand is successfully picking up the pieces and moving forward with a positive attitude.

During June 2009, yellow shirt party members besieged Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, which caused major delays across the region, not to mention the adverse affect on tourism to the country. Coupled together with the recent red party skirmishes in Bangkok, most nations wouldn’t be able to deal with the fallout of such trauma in such quick succession.

Thailand is known for breaking the mould and quickly turning negatives into positives. Instead of dwelling on the past, the country is swiftly moving forward and seeing the negatives for what they were: ‘a minor blip in the history of a colourful and peace loving nation.’

Thailand is leaving the troubles behind them is super quick fashion, as Southeast Asian tourism guru Bob Blake told us yesterday, “In the following days after the demise of the red party, bookings have hit full steam. Visitors to the country are now booking months in advance for the Christmas and New Year period, with a large emphasis on holiday home rentals as opposed to hotel bookings.”

It is true the demographics are now changing, with visitors to Thailand taking the villa rental route. Phil Keys, an entrepreneur with numerous interests in the Thailand villa rental market said, “When hoteliers bleakly state that hotel booking figures are dramatically down, they are not explaining the full picture. Holidaymakers are now opting to rent villas instead of hotels for many reason. Since the end of the Bangkok political turmoil, we have seen a dramatic upsurge in bookings figures for Phuket, Koh Samui and Pattaya for the rest of the year leading up to and beyond New Year. It seems that Thailand has once again turned negatives into positives in the space of just two weeks!”

Now Thailand is back to its formidable best, it makes sense for holidaymakers to take advantage of the great offers in the holiday home market. For the price of three or four tourists travelling together and paying daily rates in a hotel in Phuket or Pattaya, they can not only make big savings procuring a luxury villa, but there are also many deals offering a free rental car in their agreements. “Renting a holiday villa has never been easier,” says Phil Keys. “You get the privacy, seclusion and luxury amenities and utilities for you own use. A hotel simply cannot offer this individuality. You can enjoy Thailand at your own pace while saving big money. There is no downside to renting a holiday villa.”

As you can see, tourist regions such as Pattaya and Phuket are pulling up their sleeves and reacting to the past year and a half’s woes in positive fashion. Stability is here, so taking advantage of the great holiday home offers we are now beginning to see in the marketplace is essential. The Land of Smiles is overcoming adversity in the only way it knows how: with a smile on their face and unparalleled positivity.
