open double quote "We Did Not Want to Go Home!"
I made the plans for the trip. We stayed in a villa once before, in Spain. Worlds apart.. The Lakeside house is beautiful. The location has spectacular views of the mountains. The golf course is right behind. The amount of things to do here is amazing. The staff were great. We had trips planned most days and we enjoyed family evenings in the villa or visited the night life. We hired the Lakeside cook to take care of most of meals and we want to take her home with us. Seriously. After 2 days of using my phrase book I found out she speaks pretty good english but was too shy/polite to interrupt me We got a car with the package. A Toyota Fortuner. It seats 7 and having the children, this kind of mobility was great. Lakeside has a minibus with driver and that came in handy for a couple of nights out on the town. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and all of us felt at home. The size of the villa was a real plus too. I agree that being able to really unpack and be at home makes a big difference. There is even a laundry here. I came to thailand several years ago and the exchange rate of the baht has changed a lot but we still found that we got good value for our money in Thailand. The amount of english language spoken has also increased quite a bit. We made friends with the people staying in the other villas, and got together in the evenings. We never really did this on previous holidays. We really enjoyed our stay. close double qoute
