“Walking Street” Pattaya

HOT or COLD?

‘Walking Street’ is a famous and vibrant part of Pattaya, unquestionably known to many world wide travellers. Walking street runs from the beach to Bali-Hi pier, free of traffic from around 1800hrs until 0200hrs the next morning, however, do not by any means consider that the evening has come to a close as the baht taxis mount end to end for some it has only just begun.

Walking Street came about during the Vietnam War used by the American forces for R&R and developed rapidly from the mid 1970s to what it is today.

For some the area may leave you Cold for others it will make you a little HOT under the collar, but have an open mind this area is equipped to suit everyone and been known to revive the over 70’s.

Walking street buzzes from about 9pm onwards and hums with live bands, rock, country and western, live jazz to see you through to the small hours. Piers that go out into the sea serving the most amazing array of fresh fish, lobsters as big as your arm (a small arm perhaps?)  steaks, whatever takes your fancy and wash it down with a beer or some fine wine – take your Gold Card if wine is on the menu!

Want a suit made, an oil painting of the wife or girlfriend, buy some gold or diamonds no problem everything is possible.

Walking Street can be visited by your grandmother without fear of reproach BUT do not go in the GOGO Bars unless you are broad-minded a different scene will open up before your very eyes. Stunning, beautiful Thai ladies dancing in the most exotic outfits making your blood boil before your very eyes as they pulse away to the latest sounds vying for that next customer or a rich Ferang husband.

Play board games with the girls for a free drink – you will loose for sure.

In summary for the single guys if you do not want a beautiful, young, sexy, stunning Thai girl on your arm who wants to “Care You” for ever – Don’t go there!
